Subject: 'Thank you' on behalf of 'Mitzi'

Top of the morning everybody!

I wanted to show Mitzi how to use the computer and send her 'thank yous' but Mum said, "Goodness, Paddy, Mitzi's not ready to do that yet!"

Anyway, lots of thanks to all for Mitzi's welcome messages. She's such a shy and frightened little Scottie and we all have to be very gentle and quiet with her otherwise, when we go out in the garden, she hides under a bush.

That was a shock for me when Mum packed me and Chris into the car and drove us all the way up to Yorkshire. When we pulled into the drive up there I thought, "Oh dear, Mum's got fed up with me and taken me back to where she got me!" Anyway, when she got out she said to me to wait on the back seat and then she came back and popped Mitzi on the seat beside me. I was so pleased to see Mitzi as I remember knowing her when we were both here together. We did lots of tail wagging and nosing each other all the way back home.

It's been very hot here and we all find it a bit too much. There aren't even any hedgehogs to hunt at the moment.

That's all my news for now.

Greetings from Paddy and Mitzi - Archie says miaows from him ... Grrrr!

Subject: 'Heather' Tribe (reproduced from the 'Latest' entry dated 1st June 2018)

We have received the very sad news from Barbara Tribe that 'Heather', her beloved Scottie, went to Rainbow Bridge earlier today. Heather was in her twelfth year and had been unwell and under veterinary care for the last few days. 'Heather' leaves such a big hole in the hearts of Barbara and Chris and will be greatly missed by Paddy, the Scottie, and Archie, the cat.

Our love and thoughts are with them all at this very sad time.

Heather

Dear Barbara, Chris, Paddy and Archie,

So sad to hear the passing of Heather, who was so loved by you both.

Paddy will miss her dearly and Archie will no longer have to watch his biscuits, but one thing I am sure, Oliver, Jazz and Leo were waiting at Rainbow Bridge. They are once again the famous four, reunited forever.

Sending you lots of love and hugs, Maureen and Dudley Bear XXXX

Chris and I, and Paddy and Archie, would like to thank everybody for their kind messages of condolence on our loss of Heather. They mean a lot to us.

Eight years ago, when we collected Heather, she was such a thin and nervous little Scottie, she was too afraid to even walk in the garden on her own. However, with lots of tlc, she changed into such a little sweetheart, always happy and particularly when it came to dinner time which she especially enjoyed - and anybody else's if she could get at it!

Oliver, Jazz and Leo had always been her family and it was so hard for her to lose them one by one. However, now they are reunited and we have wonderful memories of the four and are starting again with a new family, Paddy and Archie.

We love you all.

Barbara xx
